Truffs

If you walk along 179A Telok Ayer Street during weekday lunch time, there will be lots of office workers rushing and moving around for food. Truffs is located at Level 2 and there is a 菜饭 stall at Level 1 which always attracts a long queue of people blocking Truffs’ entrance.

After walking up a flight of stairs, you will see Truffs.  The moment you enter Truffs, the calm and quiet atmosphere sets you in peaceful and relaxing mood. It is very different from the busy streets and crowded eating places.

Handmade Chocolate

Truffle

They offer 55%, 66% and 70% dark chocolate truffles. Those who like it sweet can try their 55% équateur dark chocolate. Personally, I prefer it bitter with mild sweetness - 70% honduras dark chocolate.

Chocolate Cake
The royal glossy dark chocolate makes it elegant and inviting. I wish I could capture a better angle of the cake.

Earl Grey Chocolate Tart
I love it as it is not too sweet. The creamy and intense chocolate taste is awesome. The Earl Grey has added a fine tea bitter taste to the tart; perhaps this is why it is not sweet.

I wish I had the time to sit here and relax. It is a subtle artistic place with smoothing effect.
