Bar and Billiard Buffet @ Raffles Hotel

I love looking at buildings. British colonel buildings are simply lovely. Every time I walk pass Raffles hotel, I will admire the beauty of the structure and think when will I get to go in and take a look. Finally i am going in for Sunday Brunch buffet.

The staff are very helpful and polite. The English flavor structure and tall ceiling provide a classy feel. I am here for buffet, not admire the place.

Here are photos of the spread. No Japanese and Indian food.

There are 2 live cooking stations:
Pan fried Foie Gras, it is located outside…I almost missed it. Until I saw someone eating foie Gras and asked the waitress. Hee hee…
A bit disappointed as it did not meet the expectation. Not sure is it over cooked? It did not have the fragrance taste.

Spinach Cheese Dumpling, wrap and cook on the spot. The look might be normal but the taste is super. The cheese and spinach complimented each other. Just that not sure why they need to cook with olive oil and then add in butter toward the end of cooking. It makes the dishes seem slightly oily. Maybe just cook with butter will be sufficient.

4 species of Oysters. Don’t ask me the difference, I simply eat…

I like the pork ribs, nicely done.

Desserts – Magnum Inspired Chocolate- this is not the ice cream we eat.

That's all for the food. Their toilet is really antique/retro look. Sorry i know you just enjoy looking at the food photos. But i really want to show the photo.
