Flavored Eggs - Lava eggs

I love to eat ramen and the lava egg. Some ramen shops selling the eggs at SGD2.00!!!
Why so expensive???

Make my own, after reading a posting from ieatishootipost. His eggs soaked for 1 week. I soaked mine for 5days. Eee...edible?? Put inside refrigerator should be fine to eat.

Other than it look a bit ugly as the egg white stuck on to the shell while peeling.

Methods:
1. Put in the eggs into the boiling water and let it boil for 6mins
2. After 6 mins, immediately take out the eggs and soak them in ice water
3. Remove the shell and set asde.
4. Boil the sauce of your preference, i used 2 tablespoon dark soya sauce, 2 tablespoon light soya sauce, some white pepper powder, 5 spices powder, a pinch of salt and 1 tea spoon of brown sugar.
5. Let the sauce cool down then put in the eggs to soak. The sauce should cover the whole egg.
6. Put into the refrigerator for number of days - 3 to 5 days.

Bar and Billiard Buffet @ Raffles Hotel

I love looking at buildings. British colonel buildings are simply lovely. Every time I walk pass Raffles hotel, I will admire the beauty of the structure and think when will I get to go in and take a look. Finally i am going in for Sunday Brunch buffet.

The staff are very helpful and polite. The English flavor structure and tall ceiling provide a classy feel. I am here for buffet, not admire the place.

Here are photos of the spread. No Japanese and Indian food.

There are 2 live cooking stations:
Pan fried Foie Gras, it is located outside…I almost missed it. Until I saw someone eating foie Gras and asked the waitress. Hee hee…
A bit disappointed as it did not meet the expectation. Not sure is it over cooked? It did not have the fragrance taste.

Spinach Cheese Dumpling, wrap and cook on the spot. The look might be normal but the taste is super. The cheese and spinach complimented each other. Just that not sure why they need to cook with olive oil and then add in butter toward the end of cooking. It makes the dishes seem slightly oily. Maybe just cook with butter will be sufficient.

4 species of Oysters. Don’t ask me the difference, I simply eat…

That's all for the food. Their toilet is really antique/retro look. Sorry i know you just enjoy looking at the food photos. But i really want to show the photo.
