Their spreadsheet is good for us who are paying SGD32.

Seafood

Sashimi and Sushi

Lamb

Grilled Prawn and Lamb nicely done

Oxtail Stew is tender and juicy

Others

DIY Kueh Pie Tee – Surprising nice

DIY Rojak – the you tiao is soggy, if it is crispy then it will be yummy.

Mee Siam

Durian pengat – Every mouth is filled with durian fiber. Sweetness is just right.

Egg tart – Crispy skin and tasty custard

Flourless cake – I find the chocolate base a bit too sweet, you have to eat it together with the yogurt (white top)

Cheesecake – very smooth and silky, however the base is kind of too soft.

Dessert

It is a nice meal!

Lai Wan Mian - 来碗面

Update: Feb2016
Shop is closed.
-------------------------------------------------
Lesser and lesser people want to be hawker. Always hear the 1st generation hawker saying their children are not willing to take over the stall and continue the trade. Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) offered this Hawker Master Trainer Pilot  Programme (HMTPP) for people who like to pick up a skill as a hawker.

来碗面 is one of them who participated this this HMTPP. It is wonderful located near my office at Amoy Food Center level 2. After it appear on a channel 8 television program the queue are getting longer.

This bowl of wanton noodle (SGD3.00), the noodle is for people who like their noodle hard. I like the cha siew the most, tender and fragrance. The wanton quite tasty but only have 3 pieces, quite usual quantity. Overall this is a nice bowl of wanton noodle.

Sup Thai Food

It is lunch time! Weekday lunch time at Tanjong Pagar area is madness. Hundreds and Hundreds of people flow onto the street heading to the food center.

Trick to beat the lunch crowd
1.       Lunch before 12noon
2.       Lunch after 1.30pm
3.       Pack your own lunch

For me, I go for number 1. Excuse meeeeeee…..let me zoom pass…..
Wah sei so many people at the traffic light, all heading the same direction. Must walk in front of them if not you will end up queuing behind them. Ops I am a Kiasu Singaporean.

Today I have craving for curry chicken. Let’s have Thai Red Curry Chicken.

I like this because:
1.       It is rich in taste
2.       The chicken is nicely done, tender and not over cooked
3.       SGD5.00 (including rice) the chicken portion is decent
4.       Very important, NO MSG!

It is a very satisfying meal.
