Melt – Sunday Brunch Buffet – Mandarin Oriental

How would you spend your Sunday afternoon? Laze around, watch a movie, do a sport or have a brunch buffet?

I like Brunch buffet with the optional to choose non-alcoholic, good for me who don’t drink.

Seafood

The oysters are big, I took 2 pieces and I did not want to have more.

Foie Gras Station – see the raw Foie Gras on display and the chef will cook the foie gras for you. I guess Foie Gras should be easy to prepare, just to pan fried it. As long as it is “burnt” – over cooked, it should be nice. It is a bite size, can simply put the whole piece into my mouth.

Indian food section – the mutton with the bone is great. The meat is tender and remember to request for a straw to stuck the bone marrow inside the bone! Naan is good and Cheese Naan is GREAT. This cheese naan is recommended by my friend. You need to place a special order with the chef. The cheese flows out of the naan and the naan is soft and fluffy. Yummy!

Outdoor Grilled Station.

Eggs Station – Place your order with the chef. Truffle Scrambled Eggs, Lobster Scrambled Eggs, Omelette with your choice of fillings, Fried eggs cooked to your likings.

Others food station

Desserts – This honeycomb caught my attention, the honey simply melt and flow into the jar. I ordered a waffle to go with this honey.  For cheese lover, honey and cheese is a nice combination. Do give it a try.
